Prepare images without a server-side editing job
ImgForge is presented in its package and interface as a client-side image studio, converter and compressor. Its workspace combines a canvas preview, adjustment controls and export choices, with image processing organized separately from the surrounding interface.
It is a distinct project from PiX: the emphasis here is preparing and encoding images rather than describing the full layered vector-editing workflow of that application.
Conversion and reusable sessions
- Cropping and adjustment controls around an interactive canvas.
- Common web-image export formats and codec integrations.
- Quality and size choices for output preparation.
- A portable .p20img session file containing source data and edit settings.
- Worker-side processing modules and browser-oriented tests.
Describe formats precisely
The interface documents image wrappers for SVG and PDF alongside raster outputs. An image embedded in an SVG container is not automatically converted into editable vector paths.
The repository has no root product README, so this overview draws on the package manifest and inspected interface. It does not claim every format works identically in every browser. The featured artwork is conceptual rather than an actual compression comparison.
