JunkCatMiner

A browser mining-game experiment with a block-based world, limited energy and carrying capacity, upgrades and helper automation.

Conceptual cat miner exploring underground blocks and gems with a small helper robot.

Choose how far to dig

JunkCatMiner explores a compact mining loop in a block-based world. The inspected implementation tracks the player's energy, bag capacity, collected items and run state, turning movement and excavation into a sequence of small resource decisions.

A pathfinding layer connects selected targets to player movement, while gravity and exposed-block rules shape how the underground space can be navigated.

Tools and progression

  • Collectible resources and different block types.
  • Energy and inventory limits that can end a run.
  • Drill and carrying-capacity progression.
  • A helper bot with its own route-selection logic.
  • A temporary magnet effect for nearby collectibles.

A source-led overview

React supplies the interface around a canvas-oriented game engine, with separate configuration and component modules. The repository's README is still a generic starter document, so this description is based on the actual inspected game code.

No public release maturity, multiplayer mode or server persistence is implied. The featured cat-mining scene is an original conceptual illustration, not a screenshot of the implemented artwork.

Project notes

This overview was prepared from a private project repository reviewed on October 29, 2026. Source access remains private; credentials, internal endpoints and confidential implementation details are not included.
