Keeping evidence separate from public documentation
Private Stash supports The Pirate Ray by keeping original research evidence in a restricted archive. Its role is preservation and traceability, while the companion public project presents material selected for wider sharing.
Preservation principles
- Retain original material without editing it in place.
- Record content hashes and provenance in an organized inventory.
- Classify material before considering any public use.
- Keep research notes and editorial decisions linked to their sources.
Public scope
This overview describes the archive's purpose only. It does not reproduce evidence, private source locations, machine identifiers, configuration files, license information or third-party software. The illustration is an invented archive scene and contains no source artifacts.
Project notes
This overview was prepared from a private project repository reviewed on October 29, 2026. Source access remains private; credentials, internal endpoints and confidential implementation details are not included.
