Choose how far to dig
JunkCatMiner explores a compact mining loop in a block-based world. The inspected implementation tracks the player's energy, bag capacity, collected items and run state, turning movement and excavation into a sequence of small resource decisions.
A pathfinding layer connects selected targets to player movement, while gravity and exposed-block rules shape how the underground space can be navigated.
Tools and progression
- Collectible resources and different block types.
- Energy and inventory limits that can end a run.
- Drill and carrying-capacity progression.
- A helper bot with its own route-selection logic.
- A temporary magnet effect for nearby collectibles.
A source-led overview
React supplies the interface around a canvas-oriented game engine, with separate configuration and component modules. The repository's README is still a generic starter document, so this description is based on the actual inspected game code.
No public release maturity, multiplayer mode or server persistence is implied. The featured cat-mining scene is an original conceptual illustration, not a screenshot of the implemented artwork.
