LayoutApp

A browser vector-layout editor organized around drawing tools, editable paths, document history and a structured design workspace.

Conceptual vector workspace with Bezier handles, geometric shapes, guides and layered artboards.

Compose with shapes and editable paths

LayoutApp is a vector-design application whose source separates drawing tools from document state and interface panels. The inspected toolset covers basic shapes, text, free paths, selection and node editing.

The workspace structure includes a canvas, layers, properties, toolbar and status areas, making the document an editable collection of objects rather than a single flattened image.

Core building blocks

  • Rectangle, ellipse, pen and text tools.
  • Selection, hand navigation and node editing.
  • Document and history modules.
  • Snapping, path operations and geometry utilities.
  • Language-support infrastructure in the interface.

A source-based project snapshot

The application uses React, TypeScript and Vite, with polygon-clipping support and a separate test workflow. The repository has no root product README, so this description stays close to inspected module boundaries.

It does not imply compatibility with every professional vector format or a completed commercial publishing workflow. The featured artwork is a conceptual layout scene rather than an exported LayoutApp document.
