MSBR Alarm Statistics

A self-hosted archive and statistics interface for public fire-and-rescue notices, with explicit source coverage and revision handling.

Conceptual public-notice archive with timeline cards, a coverage calendar and aggregate charts.

Make a public notice stream searchable

MSBR Alarm Statistics archives public notices from Midt- og Sydsjællands Brand & Redning's daily report. Search, aggregation and export sit alongside a coverage calendar, keeping the boundaries of the available source history visible.

The documented verified coverage starts in 2024. Historical import is resumable, and revisions to an existing notice are recorded separately rather than being counted as new events.

Two collection rhythms

  • Independent live polling and historical backfill.
  • A baseline that avoids generating notifications for old records.
  • Visible import failures and resumable coverage.
  • Structured enrichment and searchable records.
  • Updates to open browser tabs through Server-Sent Events.

What the archive can and cannot say

The stack separates a React interface, FastAPI API, collection worker and PostgreSQL storage. The first version does not claim push notifications after the browser is fully closed.

The records are alarm notices, not necessarily confirmed final outcomes. This project page includes no individual incident details and is not emergency guidance. Its featured illustration is a generic archival scene rather than a chart of real incidents.
