A collection built for browsing
Sjov.app provides a public image archive that visitors can search, sort or shuffle. Each image has its own page, and tags offer another route through the collection. The application combines browsing with lightweight community features rather than treating uploads as an unstructured folder.
Contributions with an editorial workflow
- Accounts for voting, saving favorites and building personal lists.
- Multi-image uploads with validation, preview generation and duplicate detection.
- Moderation for new contributors and a trusted-contributor workflow.
- Preserved originals and a history of processing and editorial changes.
A compact self-hosted application
React supplies the interface, Fastify handles the service and Sharp processes imagery, with SQLite maintaining the catalog. A repeatable importer supports migration from a WordPress collection while retaining source provenance. Moderation changes visibility without automatically discarding original material.
